This music mixing workshop offers a creative approach to the techniques and process of modern music mixing, wherein participants will learn how to apply their knowledge of the mixing process towards different genres of music, specializing in Hip Hop, R&B, and Pop. Learn how to adapt techniques such as EQ, compression, effects, mixing for radio and vocal repair for various music genres and study the differences between these mixing processes for each genre. This is a hands-on, intimate workshop conducted in our world-class, state of the art Maximedia Recording Studios located in Dallas, TX. Hal Fitzgerald, the instructor of the workshop, is chief engineer at the studio and has mixed songs for Grammy and platinum selling artists such as Akon, Nelly, Timbaland, Lil' Wayne, Paul Wall, Play n Skillz, Hilary Duff, Kelly Clarkson and Lauryn Hill.
This workshop is for sound recording students, enthusiasts and professionals of all levels who are interested in modern music mixing techniques and processes.
